Lounge Chair D35 by Anton Lorenz for Tecta, 1980s

D35 lounge armchair designed by Anton Lorenz and made at Tecta, 1980s. Anton Lorenz, a native of Hungary, saw that Mart Stam “cantilever chair” was a particularly beautiful design and implemented it in this armchair in the 1930s. This version was made at Tecta in the 1980s. The German company Tecta, founded in 1956, specialises in manufacturing designer furniture. They reissue designs from De Stijl and Bauhaus, not so much to keep these two famous names alive, but to combine construction with a new design language. The condition is still good with slight traces of use (small stains). Material chromed metal, woven rattan and fabric. Colour: cream white and silver.
