English furniture forming Showcase / Scriban / Sideboard, in solid Blond Oak, which we will choose to describe in three steps.
The top element, topped by a moulded Cornice, consists of a Bookcase, opening through two glass doors with bars. They reveal two 22 cm deep shelves, on racks and therefore adjustable to suit a total storage height of 82 cm.
The second component is a Scriban with an inclined flap, held unfolded horizontally by an original system of wooden compasses called ”kneeling”. It reveals a space made up of eight Niches and two small drawers with wooden drawer knobs, and offers a working area of 83.5 cm long by 53 cm wide.
The lower part is a small Sideboard, with two doors with flat panels. The interior is organized in two compartments, each with two and three shelves on fixed slats.
Each of these three elements is lockable and has its own key. One will particularly appreciate the pretty Red Copper lock entries on the doors.
The unit rests on a wide plinth modestly curved in front and on the sides.
One will retain from this Centenary piece of furniture the subtle alliance of its reasonable dimensions and its multifunctionality. Moreover, with its charming light colour and its great sobriety, it will be able to personalize a Rustic interior as well as a Contemporary Home.
