Direct from France, a beautiful 19th century French dessert server/sideboard in an excellent size, loaded with carvings and versatile for use and placement throughout your home, from dining to den to home office or kitchen!
Carved beveled edges to the top AND both level shelves, with wide carved aprons also on all three levels. Note the server is fully finished and carved on all sides, which is always a sign of quality. And because there is no ‘backside’, the server can also be placed anywhere or “float” in the center of a room.
THICK, large barley twist columns on all sides, support the heavy shelves and compliment the carvings. Wide block joints and large ball feet complete the look. Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 37” ht. x 30.25” x 16.5”.
