A 19th century wooden vitrine produced in France, this tall vitrine stands on cabriole feet and elevates above seven feet and a half. Provided with a scalloped apron and a molded cornice, the two-case piece is composed of a large four-shelf vitrine with glass doors and a small two-shelf buffet. The off-white painted interior provides a smooth contrast with the chamoise exterior, skillfully restored to highlight the natural tortoise patterns of the oak. Completed with fluted sections and metal scrolled escutcheons, this French country vitrine infuses a nostalgic elegance.
