Vintage Design
Important Louis XV Style Cabinet of Melle area (Deux-Sèvres), blond walnut, front feet and rear cut-framed ash; it is dated on the upper cross member “1862” .It is opened by doors 2 Cut and 2 drawers decorated long keyplates iron cut. Long iron sheet.
The top of the doors, as well as the low crosses are decorated with polychrome patterns – naive for doors and floral crosses for fret. This decor, whimsical work of a carpenter, is typical of this region.
Cornice, cut sides is molded and is based on curved legs.
Region: South of Deux-Sèvres.
Second half of the nineteenth.
Completely original.
