style stepped desk Louis XVI, Napoleon III era, blackened wood with brass inlay fillets and moldings chiseled bronze.
The step is surrounded on 3 sides of a perforated brass gallery; it opens with 4 small drawers, mahogany interior.
Inkstand drawer in the belt. The top measuring 67cm X 34cm, is wrapped with a red leather with gilt vignette (which has been changed).
It rests on four tapered legs rudentées grooves at the top and banded chiseled bronze.
Epoque Napoleon III, mid nineteenth
Perfect condition after restoration, glossy finish hard bottom and waxed. Lock and key in working order.
