This is an amazing and important collection of 8 plaques (7 tin metal and one in wood) that have been hand painted by Catholic religious devotees in gratitude to either Christ, Virgin Mary or a specific Saint. These are Mexican and painted in 1950s and 1960s depicting “Thank Yous” for miraculous recoveries or salvation from terrible medical events or accidents. The colors beautiful and the images are genuinely amazing. This is sold only as a grouping and are best displayed together.
Note: largest tin plaque is 10 inches tall and 10.75 inches wide, the smallest tin plaque in the center is 8 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall.
