Rustic and charming folk art painted side table or drink table by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The table features an oil on board painting depicting a white French chicken or rooster with a 19th century date 1840 and signed with his initials. Ira loved painting 18th-19th century French furniture in the country provincial style. The table has barrel stave style splayed legs supporting a cartouche shaped thin wood veneered top. Lovely example of his whimsical gallophile works. Provenance: From the Yager Gallerie Calistoga, CA.
