This is a very rare and classic example of Scottish Hand Carving and a superb Victorian Half moon Hall Table. C1850
Made from English Bleached Oak, this table has been extensively and expertly carved, retaining its superb colour with a desirable and beautifully aged patina to the
grain, the thick top has a beautifully carved moulded edge detailing with a pair of classical columns presenting stunning detailing of carved animals and vine work that rise to support the tabletop, the base is robust which incorporates two gaping hand carved lion heads guarding each of the feet.
This Table originates from Duncraig Castle Scotland.
